Quick and Easy Post-Workout Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to have a healthy and filling post-workout snack or breakfast. However, sometimes you may not want to break out the blender but want something a little more exciting than a scoop of protein powder mixed with water. My answer to this is my post-workout smoothie recipe below. It’s healthy and filling and doesn’t involve anything more complicated than a shaker cup.

Ingredients

1 Cup So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk
1 Bottle Dannon Oikos Nonfat Yogurt Drinks (I liked Strawberry or Mixed Berry)
2 Scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
Optional: Stevia to taste

Directions

Put all the ingredients in a shaker bottle (I like this one). Shake. Enjoy!

Variations:

If you have slightly more time or want a thicker smoothie, try one of the following variations.

Banana Smoothie

1/2 Cup So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk
1 Bottle Dannon Oikos Nonfat Yogurt Drinks (I liked Strawberry or Mixed Berry)
2 Scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
1/2 Cup Ice
1/2 Banana
Optional: Stevia to taste

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get the desired consistency. Pour into a cup. Enjoy!

Mixed Berry Smoothie

1/2 Cup So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk
1 Bottle Dannon Oikos Nonfat Yogurt Drinks (I liked Strawberry or Mixed Berry)
2 Scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
1/2 Cup Ice
1/2 Cup Frozen Mixed Berries
Optional: Stevia to taste

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get the desired consistency. Pour into a cup. Enjoy!

Green Smoothie

1/2 Cup So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk
1 Bottle Dannon Oikos Nonfat Yogurt Drinks (I liked Strawberry or Mixed Berry)
2 Scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
1/2 Cup Ice
1 Cup Baby Spinach or Kale
1/2 Cup Frozen Mixed Berries
1/2 Banana
Optional: Stevia to taste

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get the desired consistency. Pour into a cup. Enjoy!

I usually make my post-workout smoothie after most workouts, but I have also been known to start the day with it.
